The European Chemicals Agency have approved the application of EUCTL as ECHA's Accredited Stakeholder.
This appointment will allow EUCTL to be more directly involved in the activities of the Agency and it will also allow us to participate to the meetings of RAC (Committee for Risk Assessment), SEAC (Committee for Socio-economic Analysis) and MSC (Member States Committee). EUCTL already had the opportunity to participate in the bisphenol restriction discussion during a SEAC meeting on March 14th.
This is a very important step as one of our main objectives when creating EUCTL was to be established as a credible and reliable subject, representing the companies that operate in Europe, producing and putting on the market chemicals to be used in textiles and leather.
The News of EUCTL appointment can be found in ECHA Weekly newsletter of 8 March, 2023.
